Designed by the best Indonesian architect, Andra Matin. He is known for his clean and modern approach to architecture. The contemporary Indonesian architect enjoys finding ambiguous links between interior and external environments. The home was not designed as a beautiful shell from which to enjoy surrounding views but as a place where the backyard becomes seamlessly woven into all interior experiences. The architect wanted to ensure the landscape could offer spatial experiences as dynamic as the buildings. He often applies materials and craftsmanship that he finds nearest to each site, concerning local talents. He also shares that the most vital role of architects today is to show “concern for the Earth”, a quality paramount across his work.
