The house is built from recycled wood, carefully collected from several old joglo houses. These houses were dismantled in Java, and the wood was transported to Bali and assembled here. This choice of material is intentional: timber that has stood for decades is naturally protected from termites, exceptionally strong, and carries a noble, time-worn texture. It holds within it the history and energy of the past, giving the house depth and character.

Joglo is a traditional Indonesian house that embodies the philosophy of openness and harmony with nature. Its architecture, with soaring ceilings and a distinctive roofline, symbolizes the unity of the spiritual and the material, while creating a sense of spaciousness and freedom. Inside, we combined rose travertine with the rich texture of aged wood, highlighting their natural beauty and contrast. The floor of local marble brings coolness and refinement, enhancing the sense of solidity and tranquility.

Every detail of the house was created individually: the furniture, lighting, and décor were designed by us specifically for this space. Each piece is unique — from a chair to a lamp — carrying its own idea and character, making the interior truly one of a kind.

The 1-level property comprises 2 bedrooms on a 250 sqm plot and 140 sqm living space.
